Lucky FIP Special Effects Treatment Injection 15 mg/ml is used to treat feline infectious peritonitis. By restoring the cat’s immune system and blood energy, it can restore the cat to a normal and healthy state of life activities, restore appetite and gain weight. It works for all cats with ascites ocular, Neuro symptoms and is suitable for cats of all ages, especially recommended for young and light weight cats.

How FIP Solution Works
If a cat’s immune system is healthy and mature, the white blood cells should fight off an infection or virus, and allow the cat to build up an immune response, or antibodies. Cats who develop FIP have an immune defect or deficiency that causes the white blood cells to replicate, rather than fight, the virus. Essentially, the cats immune system is spreading the virus throughout the cat’s body rather than trying to eliminate it. Cats who have no immune response develop wet FIP, while cats who have a partial immune response develop dry FIP.
The nucleoside analog FIP Solution is a molecular precursor to a pharmacologically active nucleoside triphosphate molecule. These analogs act as an alternative substrate and RNA-chain terminator of viral RNA dependent RNA polymerase. In layman’s terms, GS441 interjects itself into the chain reaction and stops the replication of the virus.
Cautions:
Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. If animal’s condition worsens or does not improve, stop product administration and consult your veterinarian.

Calculation : Injection volume = Weight(Kg) * Dosage (mg/kg) / Injection Concentration(mg/ml）
- Wet FIP: 6 mg / kg per 24 hours, severe and advanced wet FIP starts with 7-8 mg/kg;
- Dry FIP: 7 mg /kg per 24 hours, severe and advanced dry FIP starts with 8-9 mg/kg;
- Ocular FIP: 8 / per kg per 24 hours, severe and advanced dry FIP starts with 10 mg/kg;
- Neuro FIP: 10 mg / kg per 24 hours, severe and advanced Neuro FIP starts with 12 mg/kg;

Supportive Care
Cats need to consume minimally 200 calories per day and 60 ml of water per day. Anemia needs to be treated, whether via B12 or possibly a transfusion, depending on severity. Supplemental Care When Using FIP Solution to FIP
In general, unless the cat has a secondary or underlying condition besides FIP, all prescription medications can be stopped once treatment with GS begins.
